We offer half day and full day hikes near Asheville, as well as custom multi-day trips and backpacking expeditions throughout Western North Carolina. Our company can create the perfect outing for a backpacking novice or the group seeking a challenge - and any adventure in between. All of our professional guides are trained in wilderness medicine and CPR.
Our retail location at 70 College St in downtown Asheville offers a curated selection of lightweight hiking and backpacking gear from cottage industry brands and locally made trail-inspired gifts.

Choose your own adventure! Offering private, guided half-day or full-day hikes in Asheville and beyond.
FULL DAY HIKES: Simply share your desired distance (5-10 miles), terrain, scenery, and difficulty and we'll customize a spectacular day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Abundant waterfalls, the highest peaks east of the Mississippi, and the prettiest views you'll find in the South are all at your disposal off the Blue Ridge Parkway, on the Appalachian Trail, hidden deep in Pisgah National Forest, or in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. $320 for 1-3 hikers, + $50 per additional hiker. Price includes guide and lunch. Trips start at 8:30am, and last approximately 6-8 hours.
HALF DAY HIKES: Spend the morning or afternoon exploring some of the best trails near Asheville. Share a little information about any highlights you'd like to see and how far/challenging you'd like your hike to be so we can plan the perfect trip for you! Most half day hikes are 3-5 miles and well suited for beginner and intermediate hikers. Our half day trip destinations include scenic waterfalls, historic sites, 6,000 ft peaks, the Appalachian Trail, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. $210 for 1-3 hikers, + $35 per additional hiker. Price includes guide and snacks! Trips start at 8:30am or 12pm, and last approximately 4 hours.
