- French Broad Boatworks specializes in building hand crafted wooden boats. Wooden boat tours are also available through the River Arts District and Biltmore Estate sections of the French Broad River. Tours are generally offered Monday through Sunday at specified times listed within schedule on the website. Please refer to the website to schedule a tour. Tours include early morning birding trips to a sunset tour and dinner at the Smokey Park Supper Club located down river from our private boat launch within Carrier Park.
