Navitat Canopy Adventures

Navitat is the premier provider of mountain and tree-based zipline experiences - featured on CNN, in the New York Times, Outdoor Magazine, Forbes Travel Guide and called "One of the best in the nation!" in USA TODAY! Located only 20 minutes north of Asheville, Navitat's home, Moody Cove, is a 242-acre wilderness setting containing some of the largest trees in the area, abundant wildlife, rare plant species, and offering spectacular long-range mountain views.

Treetop Tour

A one of a kind adventure, with a 100% tree-based design layout, and authentic canopy tour features. You’ll find yourself immersed in nature as you traverse the canopy arriving at heights up to 80 feet in old-growth trees. Our original canopy tour boasts 6 ziplines and an array of other tree-based elements such as leaps and rope-descents.

Mountaintop Tour

 A massive high flying zipline tour featuring three (huge!) side-by-side "racing style" ziplines, the longest of which stretches more than 3600-feet and is 350-feet above the forest floor. That’s higher than the Statue of Liberty!

Navitat At Night

Navitat at Night coverts our Mountaintop Tour with added experience only found at night. Guests will be outfitted with a headlamp to navigate the trails between each platform and our Adventure Guides will do all the hard work and safety checks for you. The tour starts at dusk and will end in complete darkness.

Treetop Tour Express

We have created the perfect 90-minute family-friendly adventure to ensure you get the most out of your time in the mountains. The Treetop Express is a 100% tree-based design layout, immersing you in nature. You’ll experience ziplines, a rappel, or leap at heights up to 75 feet in the air. Reach speeds up to 40 miles per hour while taking in the beautiful Rich Cove wilderness. All of this while building life skills for your kids, such as confidence, resilience, and a willingness to take risks in general.

RTV Shadow Tour

Experiencing the world from the treetops just isn’t really your “thing?” No worries – heights aren’t for everyone! Or maybe you’re traveling as a family, and some of your youngest or older members aren’t able to zip? Good news! Navitat still has an adventure for YOU! Buckle up! Our Guided RTV Excursions will take you to the highest point of Moody Cove to experience breath-taking views previously afforded only to our high-flying guests. Traveling on a state-of-the-art Kubota rugged-terrain vehicle, your personal Adventure Driver will customize an excursion (lasting approximately 1.5-hours) that will provide vantage points of Navitat’s zipline tours and provide a rich narrative about the cultural and natural history of our home in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wave hello to other family members who are zipping or spot wildlife along the way.
