Just 20 minutes from Asheville, Hickory Nut Gap Farm is nestled in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Fairview. Here shoppers can purchase freshly butchered meats, including 100% grassfed beef, pasture raised pork, and pasture raised chicken. House-made sausages, pate, and hams are a few of the butcher's specials.
Other ways to save include whole, half, and quarter animal purchases, as well as the CSA program.
A variety of WNC specialty products can also be found in the Farm Store, such as local cheeses, meads, beers, handmade soaps, jewelry, pottery, and barbecue/hot sauces.
Catering and event space rentals are also available. Event spaces include the Party Shed, Big Barn, and History Barn. Tours and school field trips are available by appointment.
